Secure first, always
An open building after a fire is a liability — weather, animals, and break-ins add damage the insurer will scrutinize. We board up windows and doors, tarp roof openings, and fence what needs fencing, usually within hours of the fire department releasing the scene.
Smoke residue sets like a clock is running
Soot is acidic. Within days it etches glass, pits metal, and permanently yellows paint and plastics. Different fires leave different residue — a slow smoulder leaves greasy wet smoke that smears, a fast hot fire leaves dry soot that wipes — and using the wrong cleaning method sets the stain instead of lifting it. Our technicians identify the residue type and clean accordingly, surface by surface.
Odour removal that is not perfume
Smoke odour lives in materials, not air. Spraying deodorizer over it fails within weeks. We remove the charred material that is the source, clean the surfaces that can be saved, seal what stays, and treat the space with hydroxyl or ozone equipment until the smell is actually gone — including inside ductwork.
Contents: saved where possible, documented where not
Clothing, furniture, electronics, and keepsakes are inventoried, packed out, and cleaned at our facility — ultrasonic cleaning for hard goods, specialized laundering for textiles. What cannot be saved is itemized with photos for your contents claim, room by room, so nothing is argued about later.
